Tingru Yang

Tingru Yang


Dr. Ting-Ru Yang is an Associate Professor in the School of Management & Economics/Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). She got her Ph.D. in Economics from BIT, China.

Her research interests mainly focus on climate change policy, environmental and economic system modeling, regional environmental governance. She has authored 12 papers published in peer-reviewed academic journals. Dr. Yang has approved for the 2021 "National Economics Doctorate Innovation Program". She has performed high-level research projects for various China governmental agencies, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). She is serving as a referee for SCI/SSCI journals such as Journal of Environmental Management, among others. She is a council member of the Chinese Society of Energy Economics and Management (CSEEM).
