On the morning of July 2nd, the 2021 Virtual Opening Ceremony of the 2021 National Excellent College Students Summer Camp of the School of Management and Economics was held in Tencent Conference. Professor Wang Zhaohua, Dean of the school of Management and Economics, Professor Tang Baojun, vice dean professor Zhao Xian, vice dean professor Zhang xiang, department heads, and a number of backbone teachers attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony is presided over by professor Deng Jianwei, Director of the Graduate Teaching Center.

After watching the short film of the school, Dean Wang Zhaohua announced the official opening of the summer camp of the School of Management and Economics. On behalf of the School, he welcomed the outstanding students from universities across the country, and gave a more detailed introduction on the discipline setting, talent training, scientific research, international development and other aspects of the School of Management and Economics.

The summer camp received more than 1500 applications from universities across the country, finally selected 135 outstanding junior students from 53 universities including Central South University, Chongqing University, Hunan University, Shandong University, Dalian Technology University, and China Agricultural University. They will participate in the three-day summer camp activities to enhance the understanding of the School and disciplines.
