In order to ensure the quality of degree and graduate education, according to the Revised Degree Authorization Qualification Assessment Method Notice (degree [2020] 25), the Ministry of Education of the State Council on 2020-2025 Degree Authorization Periodic Qualification Assessment Work Notice (degree [2020] 26), on the premise of fully considering the epidemic prevention and control needs, On November 25,2022, the Graduate School organized the self-evaluation expert review meeting of Engineering Management Professional Degree (MEM) in the form of Tencent Conference.

Before the official start of the evaluation meeting, Vice President Wei Yiming, on behalf of the school, expressed his gratitude to all the experts for their care and support to the degree authorization of engineering management major in our school.

Professor Zhang Wei, the head of the review expert group, presided over the review process. Chen Xiang, vice dean of the School of Management and Economics, made a detailed self-evaluation report from three aspects: the basic situation of the degree authorization, the development of the self-assessment work, and the continuous improvement plan. The seven members of the expert group have fully affirmed the achievements of the engineering management program in recent years. At the same time, the expert group put forward some questions and suggestions from the aspects of brand building, enrollment scale, teacher structure, integration of industry and education, case teaching, and so on. Vice Dean Chen Xiang responded on behalf of the School.

This self-evaluation meeting is of great significance to improving the construction quality of engineering management degree in our school, constantly improving the level of discipline construction and cultivating high-quality professionals.
