Alumni Lecture Hall Session 32: A discussion on overseas projects under the background of "Belt and Road"

On May 21,2022, the Alumni Lecture Hall of the School of Management and Economics, session 32: A Discussion On Overseas Projects under the background of "Belt and Road", was successfully held online. The lecture invited Zhao Peng of class 2009, the ASEAN area project manager of China Machinery Import and Export (Group) Co., Ltd. to share his views. Vice Dean Guan Hong, Vice Director Zhao Yu of the Alumni Work Office, and more than 200 alumni engaged in overseas investment, engineering technology, international holding and other fields attended the event. The event was hosted by Alumni Li Jia.

On behalf of the School, Guan Hong welcomed the alumni and thanked Zhao Peng and the alumni at home and abroad for their support and attention to the School.

Zhao Peng took overseas projects under the background of"Belt and Road" as the theme, told a comprehensive and detailed story from the "opportunities and challenges of overseas projects", "overseas project development, current situation, influence" and "different countries and regions project characteristics".

In the interactive session, the alumni had in-depth discussions with Zhao Peng on the issues of international project funds and the risks related to international projects in the post-epidemic era. The activity atmosphere was active, and the alumni said that they benefited a lot.
