On December 28, 2023, the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology organized an undergraduate corporate study tour visit, this time entering the company located in Meituan Headquarters in Wangjing Science and Technology Park, Beijing. The visit was led by Gao Huiying and Wang Liu'an, teachers of the Information Management and Information Systems major, involving third-year students from Information Management and Information Systems (including the Big Data Management direction), first and second-year students of the Information Management and Systems + English joint bachelor's degree, the Business Administration + Artificial Intelligence dual degree majors, and some first-year students from the Xu Teli College, totaling 54 students.

At 14:30 in the afternoon, students arrived at Meituan headquarters by bus, where the HR responsible for campus recruitment warmly welcomed them, first taking everyone to visit the first floor of Meituan's headquarters building.

After a short rest, everyone proceeded to Meituan's Integrated Command Center. Next, the guide led everyone to visit many of the new facilities developed by Meituan's R&D department. From Meituan's smart delivery vehicles to unmanned drones; from a one-stop automatic hotel check-in system to a 24-hour smart medicine vending machine, students reflected on how technology changes life and quietly contemplated what contributions their learned majors could make to a better future society.
