On the morning of January 4, 2021, the School of Management and Economics held a meeting in Room 241 of the main building for leadership personal summary and work report in 2020. The faculty and staff of the School participated in the meeting and carried out a democratic evaluation, which was presided over by Yan Zhijun, secretary of the party committee.

Dean Wang Zhaohua first expressed gratitude for the hard work of all the teaching staff under the situation of the COVID-19 epidemic situation, and summarized in detail the development of the School in the past year on behalf of the members of the leadership team, comprehensively combed the achievements of all the teaching staff in the past year from the aspects of epidemic prevention and control, system building, discipline building, team building, talent training, student work, and made planning and arrangements for the key work of the next year.

Party Secretary Yan Zhijun reported on behalf of the Party committee and individual, reviewed the work in charge of this year from three main aspects: party affairs construction, team building and financial construction, and expressed gratitude to the teachers and students of the whole school for their support and help in the past year.

In 2020, under the leadership of the school party committee, the school leadership team made overall layout, leading all teachers and students to prevent and control the epidemic in an orderly manner, at the same time successfully completed teaching and scientific research tasks. Guided by the leadership of the Party Committee, the School has made solid progress in all  work, achieved a number of important and internationally influential academic achievements, continuously introduced full-time teachers, enhanced the overall strength of the teaching staff, completed the AMBA、EQUIS online re-certification work, and successfully completed the organization and development of the work of 40 years anniversary celebration.
