On July 4th, the opening ceremony of the Summer School of the School of Management and Economics was held in the main building 133. Professor Wei Yiming, Dean of the School of Management and Economics, Professor Wang Zhaohua, Secretary of the Party Committee, Professor Yan Zhijun, Associate Dean, Professor Tang Yujun, Associate Dean, and a number of young teachers and masters from the School participated in the event.The ceremony was hosted by Associate Dean Yan Zhijun.

　　Associate Dean Yan Zhijun first expressed thanks for the leadership, teachers, classmates and their support for the summer class activities.

　　Dean Wei Yiming said that all the teachers and students present here are welcome to participate in the summer school activities.Ten years ago, the number of sci/ssci papers published by the School of Management and Economics was single digits. After ten years of hard work by the teachers and students of the School, the number of sci/ssci papers published by the School has exceeded 100 in two consecutive years. .In this context, the School held this summer class event, hoping to create opportunities for teachers to get close contact with academic leaders through this event, listen to the experience of publishing in top journals, improve the level, master the skills, and strive to increase the number of publications at the top UTD-24 journals by 5%-10%. This quantity and the qualitative leap will enhance the overall scientific research strength of the School.Finally, I hope that all teachers and students will seize the opportunity and wish the summer school activities a complete success!
