On the morning of September 2, 2019, the School of Management and Economics 2019 graduate students opening ceremony and orientation were successfully held in the lecture hall of Building No. 7.The leaders of the School and the deputy directors of the department attended the event, and the relevant leaders of the graduate teaching center and student affairs office, as well as 170 graduate and 63 doctoral students participated in the event.The ceremony was presided over by Vice Dean Tang Yijun.

　　The ceremony kicked off in the solemn national anthem. Party Secretary Wang Zhaohua expressed warm welcome to all 2019 graduate students, and introduced the School’s subject construction, teacher team building, talent training goals, scientific research results, and international exchanges. Secretary Wang also sent a message to graduate students to change their roles as soon as possible, to improve their personal social responsibility and mission. While doing research and research work, they must also pay attention to the improvement of comprehensive quality and grasp the important life stage of postgraduate study. Secretary Wang emphasized that it is necessary to enhance personal soft power, be honest and trustworthy, enhance academic norms, improve academic ethics, and be a learned and moral person.
