On December 5,2019, the School of Management and Economics held a special democratic life meeting on the theme of "Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind" to educate middle-level party members and leaders. Yan Yan, Deputy Director of the Fifth Steering Group of School Theme Education, Liaison Officer Li Hua attended the meeting. Dean Wang Zhaohua presided over the meeting.

　　In order to open a high-quality special democratic life meeting, the party committee of the School of Management and Economics conscientiously worked out a plan. First, through the center group special topic study, the party branch study, the individual self-study and other forms, carrying out the Xi Jinping new era Chinese characteristic socialism thought as the main line, we successively conducted 8 focus study discussion, completely covers the 8 requested theme education topics, and the study time accumulated 6.5 days.  The second is to carry out in-depth heart-to-heart talks. The contents of the talks closely adhered to the original ideals and aspirations, concrete measures and suggestions for the implementation of rectification and reform. The third is to conduct in-depth investigation and study and listen to opinions among teachers, students of all types and Party branch secretaries in various departments. At the same time, attention was paid to distinguishing between the situations that have been solved, are being solved and are temporarily difficult to solve during the period of thematic education, and making specific problems one by one to form a list of personal problems. Fourth, we analyzed the problems with the self-revolutionary spirit, finding out the crux of the problem, the root causes from the ideological, political, style, ability, clean government and so on, make clear the direction of efforts and improvement measures, and on this basis, seriously wrote and revised the materials repeatedly.
