On April 14,2020, Professor Wei Yiming of the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research, Beijing Institute of Technology published online in Nature's sub-journal, Nature Communications, in the form of Research Article: Self-preservation strategy for approaching global warming in the post-Paris Agreement era. It was selected Nature focused papers (only 1% of all published papers selected annually).

　　Based on the long-term cooperation between Professor Wei Yiming, Professor Yu Biying and Professor Liang Qiaomei of the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research of Beijing Institute of Technology, the research results were formed under the support of national tasks such as the National key R & D Program (2016 YFA0602600)" Comprehensive Assessment Model of Economic Impact of Climate Change "and the National Natural Science Foundation Innovation Research Group Project (71521002) led by Professor Wei Yiming. Professor Wei Yiming is the first author and corresponding author of the article, and Beijing Institute of Technology is the first completion unit. Partners include international research teams from the Royal Swedish Institute of Technology, the State University of New York, etc.
