On January 8,2020, the Beijing Institute of Technology's Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research held the launch of the 2020" Research Report on Energy Economic Forecast and Prospects "in Beijing, which released six research reports on China's Energy Economic Development and Prospects in the Context of Economic Pressure, Photovoltaic and Wind Power Industry Prospects in 2020, New Energy Automobile Industry in the Way Forward, International Crude Oil Price Analysis and Trend Forecast 2020, Progress and Layout Outlook for Carbon Capture, Carbon Market Forecast and Prospects 2020. This series of reports is research results of a research team led by Chair Professor Wei Yiming at Beijing Institute of Technology, based on the changes in the international and domestic energy economy and climate policy situation in the past year, of selected specific topics. Since 2011, Beijing Institute of Technology has issued a report for 10 consecutive years, winning wide social attention.

　　Yang Zhihong, deputy secretary of the Beijing Institute of Technology Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, delivered a speech. Professor Wei Yiming, Vice President of Beijing Institute of Technology and Director of the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research, reviewed the ten-year release of the energy economic forecast and outlook study report and gave an overview of the forthcoming report.
