June 1,2020, the 2020 summer professional degree graduate thesis online defense organized by the professional degree education joint center officially began. This defense involves 739 professional degree graduate students. With efforts of the professional degree education joint center and more than 150 internal and external defense committee members, the defense work is in progress smoothly.

　　Because of the epidemic situation, this graduation thesis defense work for the first time was conducted online. Under the guidance of our graduate school's "video defense program of graduate degree thesis during epidemic prevention and control ", the specialized center held a special working meeting before the defense, and repeatedly studied and tested the defense group, the defense field organization, the field simulation, the technical support, the logistic support, the network support, the students' knowledge, the matters needing attention, and finally formed the" video defense program of professional degree graduate students during epidemic prevention and control ". Tencent conference is used as the carrier. The defense resolution vote is through online anonymous vote.
