On the morning of July 17, the "Cloud Opening Ceremony" of the 2020 National Summer Camp for Outstanding College Students was held on Tencent. Professor Wang Zhaohua, Dean of the School of Management and Economics, Professor Yan Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee, Professor Tang Baojun, Vice Dean of Graduate Teaching, Professor Zhao Xian, Vice Dean Guan Hong, Deputy Secretary Peng Mingxue, heads of disciplines, heads of departments, deputy directors and a number of key teachers attended the opening ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Wang Huaiyu of the Graduate Teaching Center.

Then Secretary Yan Zhijun sent a message to the camp members in his speech. He said the online summer camp was an unforgettable experience in the life of the students. Through this platform students can establish a deeper relationship with BIT. He looked forward to meeting with the campers in the BIT campus.
