On the afternoon of September 13,2023, the School held a retirement ceremony for Professor Kong Zhaojun in conference room 345 of the main building. More than 30 representatives including Dean Wang Zhaohua, Party Secretary Yan Zhijun, Vice Dean Guan Hong, Vice Dean Zhao Xian, teachers, students and alumni attended the ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Guan Hong.

On behalf of the School, Wang Zhaohua expressed his heartfelt thanks to Professor Kong Zhaojun for his contribution to the construction and development of the School. He said that Professor Kong Zhaojun's conscientious work style, rigorous scientific research attitude and his dedication set an example for us. Retirement is only a change of identity, and I wish Professor Kong Zhaojun will continue to shine in talent training, discipline construction, scientific research and other aspects after emeritus.

Yan Zhijun expressed respect for Professor Kong’s dedication, innovation, and life loving personality charm, affirmed Professor Kong’s over 30 years of hard work and teaching, and wished the teacher a good health, and continue to participate in the work to help the School development.

Professor Kong Zhaojun said emotionally, grateful to the school and leaders and colleagues for their support and help. He said that after his retirement, his work will not stop, and he will continue to work deeply in the field of national economic mobilization, "Working for the motherland for fifty years", and contribute his own strength to the construction and development of the school and university.
