On July 2nd, the opening ceremony of the 2021 summer class of the School of Management and Economics was held simultaneously in Room 241 of the main building and the Tencent Conference online. Professor Wang Zhaohua, Dean of the School of Management and Economics, Professor Zhang Xiang, Vice Dean, Professor Zhao Xian, Vice Dean, and Associate Professor Lv Xin, Assistant Dean attended the opening ceremony. Professor Kumar from Temple University, Professor Cao Xinyu from the University of Minnesota, Professor Cao Jiguo from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Associate Professor Feng Quishuang from the University of Maryland, and more than 170 teachers and students participated in the online opening ceremony.The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Zhao Xian.

Dean Wang Zhaohua, on behalf of the School, first expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the experts, teachers and students.He introduced the development achievements of the School in recent years from the aspects of scientific research, talent training, faculty construction, and academic achievements.Then he said, this year is the third year of the summer school, we have the honor to invite 11 well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad to bring us reports on statistics and data analysis, environmental economy, supply chain management, strategic management, e-commerce, econometry, finance, human resource management, accounting and other directions, a comprehensive coverage of the School’s three level 1 disciplines, management science and engineering, business management, and applied economy.
