The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China stressed that "building a strong education country is the basis for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation" and needs to "cultivate and practice core socialist values". Textbooks are an important carrier to reflect the will of the country and inherit the national culture. In order to further implement the Party's educational policy and implement the fundamental task of cultivating people by virtue, the School of Management and Economics held a review meeting on self-compiled teaching materials in conference room 345 of the main building on June 2,2021.

Participants in the meeting included Party Secretary Yan Zhijun, Vice Dean Zhang Xiang, Vice Dean Chen Xiang, Vice Dean and Deputy Secretary Peng Mingxue, as well as teachers' representatives with rich teaching experience in various disciplines of the School. The meeting was presided over by Vice Dean Zhang Xiang.

The meeting reviewed the self-compiled textbooks of 24 undergraduate courses, 7 graduate courses (1 academic degree graduate course and 6 professional degree graduate courses) one by one, and standardized the regional maps appearing in the self-compiled textbooks.
