From October 26 to 27,2022, the annual exchange meeting of “Basic Theory and Demonstration - Law of China’s Economic Development” the special project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China was held in Beijing. Academician Hou Zengqian, the Foundation committee party member, deputy director, President Long Teng, Beijing Institute of Technology  Vice President Wei Yiming, Professor Wang Bo, Researcher Liu ZuiYi, academic group experts, project directors, and a total of more than 100 people attended the meeting. The opening ceremony was presided over by Liu ZuoYi, deputy director of the Management Science Department of the SFC. Affected by the epidemic, the conference was held both online and offline, organized by Beijing Institute of Technology.

In order to promote academic exchanges, Professor Lin Yifu of Peking University, Professor Cheng Guoqiang of Renmin University of China and Professor Hong Yongmiao of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences were specially invited to deliver keynote speeches. Special project directors respectively reported on their research progress, research results, the difficulties and the next step of the research plan.

The academic guidance expert group listened to the report of each project carefully, and put forward important guidance on the key path and theoretical innovation. The annual exchange meeting of the National Natural Science Foundation of China aims to assist each project team to efficiently complete the scientific research objectives, promote the research work in an orderly manner, promote the cooperation and sharing between teams, and provide a friendly communication platform for the final original theoretical breakthrough. This annual exchange meeting was a complete success.
