To thoroughly study and apply new era Xi JinPing Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, study the spirit of the 20^th CPC Congress, improve the quality of party members' theoretical study, the Party School of the School of Management and Economics held the first lecture of "Red Lecture Hall"  on April 12,2023. Prof. Dong Yawei of National School of Administration were invited to give a lecture. More than 90 student party members and active teachers and staff of the university party committee participated in the lecture hall, and the party members from Changyang Town, the co-construction unit of the School of Management and Economics, also participated in the study.

Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, With the comprehensive construction of Chinese-style modernization as the main line, combined with the personal research and learning results, Prof. Dong discussed "what is Chinese modernization", "how to achieve Chinese modernization", "Chinese modernization as the theoretical paradigm analysis problem", "combined with the theory of Marxist political economy to deeply grasp the internal logic of Chinese modernization" and other aspects. The rich connotation, essential requirements and significance of Chinese modernization in the 20^th CPC Congress report were systematically and comprehensively explained. At the same time, practical issues such as "comprehensive human development" and "intellectual property protection" were shared.
