Introduction to the speaker:
Yuan Shuai, assistant professor of Business School of University of Amsterdam, PhD in psychostatistics of Tilburg University, the Netherlands, focuses on human resource management and Big data analysis in social psychology, and the impact of AI on human resource management, especially personnel selection. His research project has received funding from multiple Dutch foundations. He has extensive cooperation with government agencies and commercial companies, and is a core member of the Human Capital Analysis and Research Center of the University of Amsterdam. After work, he is one of the founders of the official account of psychology and management, the Netherlands Federation of Psychological Statistics, and the podcast Talk with You.
Introduction to report content:
The textual data in organizational research is very rich, including but not limited to online forums, social media, news reports, participant responses, and interviews, providing fertile soil for us to explore and enhance our understanding of OBHRM theory and practice. In this speech, he will showcase different sources of textual data and demonstrate through empirical cases how advanced analytical techniques can be applied to these datasets, thereby bringing innovative and valuable insights to OBHRM research.
