On the morning of December 26, [the 7th issue of 2021], we were honored to invite Liu Peide, dean of the School of Management Science and Engineering of Shandong University of Finance and Economics, to present an academic report entitled "Key Points of Writing the Application of National Natural Science Foundation of China". Professor JU YanBING, Department OF Management Engineering, School OF Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology, presided over the report. Affected by the epidemic, this report was conducted online. Some teachers and graduate students of the School of Management and Economics attended the report.

In the report, Liu Peide first introduced the differences between the evaluation process of NSFC projects and NSFC projects and the differences in the key points of application based on his own application experience over the years. Then, combining with several important parts of the NSFC project application form, the paper introduces the writing method of the NSFC application form in detail, including the preparation work before application, how to select the topic, matters needing attention, and the common problems of the application form that has not been approved. Finally, combined with the students' confusion in submitting papers to international journals, the review process of international journal Information Sciences, the classification of topics involved in current journals and the notes for submitting papers were introduced in detail.

After the presentation, Professor Liu Peide had an in-depth discussion with the teachers and students of the School of Management and Economics on the relevant issues of the presentation. All the teachers and students at the meeting said that they benefited a lot from the report and hoped to have further exchanges with Dean Liu offline after the epidemic.
