On March 20, 2022, Senior Engineer Zhao Huanfang, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the R&D Center of Agricultural Bank of China, was invited to give an online lecture entitled "Data Creates Value, Empowers Transformation in China and Taiwan". Zhao Huanfang is a 2000-level alumnus of the School of Management and Economics, and concurrently serves as a director of the China Youth Science and Technology Association. He has presided over the research and development of electronic construction projects in the fields of core banking, credit management, and risk management of the Agricultural Bank of China. In the lecture, senior engineer Zhao Huanfang first briefly introduced how data elements drive digital transformation, and analyzed how data can empower the digital transformation of the financial industry and the challenges of financial digital transformation. On this basis, senior engineer Zhao Huanfang elaborated on the data middle platform system and its evolution process, introduced the construction ideas of the data middle platform from the new foundation, new technology, new application, new model, new governance and new value, and discussed the development of the data middle platform.
