On October 25th, [the 21st issue of 2021], Professor Niu Baozhuang from the School of Business Administration of South China University of Technology was honored to bring an academic report titled "Blockchain Enabled Supply Chain Structure Adjustment and Competition and Cooperation Motivation Research".
Mr. Niu Baozhuang first introduced the main technical background and recognized characteristics of blockchain, including: 1. Not to be tampered with; 2. irreversible; 3. 3. Safety; 4. It can realize information sharing and transparency. Then, teacher extracting block chain can be traced back, can be held accountable, share three important application characteristics, combined with a scientific problem, in view of the supply chain upstream and downstream, especially the competition and cooperation between supply chain upstream and downstream enterprises to participate in block chain dynamics modeling analysis, report our recent three exploratory work. Specifically: the first work is to verify the quality of cross-border e-commerce platforms already using blockchain, so as to establish customers' trust and ensure the quality of products. However, how do the differences in corporate income tax and the principle of fair trade commonly encountered in cross-border supply chains affect their motivation to join the blockchain? Based on this motivation, the OM model is used to investigate whether a cooperative supply chain consisting of a multinational corporation (MNF) with a retail sector located in a high-tax country/region and an e-retailer that procures and resells goods from MNF has the incentive to join the blockchain. The second work is to explore the incentive joint interval of farmers, supermarkets, consumers and other three parties in the agricultural product supply chain for the installation of blockchain, the responsibility arrangement for the quality of agricultural products and the profit and loss analysis of enterprises by using the traceability characteristics of blockchain, so as to achieve the quality screening effect of blockchain on the survival of the fittest in the agricultural product supply chain. The third work is a game analysis on the application of blockchain in the context of health products and drugs, which still focuses on the joint research of upstream and downstream motivation of the supply chain, mainly talking about the motivation of demand information sharing on the blockchain.
Mr. Niu Baozhuang's excellent report attracted nearly 400 teachers and students from colleges and universities at home and abroad. In the report, Mr. Niu actively interacted with the participants and answered nearly 30 academic questions. His rigorous style of study and profound knowledge were highly praised by the participants.
