Marketing

 

     The undergraduate major of marketing in Beijing Institute of Technology was founded in 1994. Relying on the excellent educational resources of Beijing Institute of Technology and School of Management and Economics, combine with the characteristics of the development of marketing specialty in the era, a multi-module, interdisciplinary and multi-level education and training system of cascade courses with reasonable structure has been formed, and teaching methods such as thematic discussion, simulation planning and design have been widely used to train students. On the basis of complete knowledge structure of marketing discipline, comprehensive theoretical basis of management and engineering, broad international vision and thinking mode, students have strong ability of strategic planning, marketing management and value innovation.

 

     There are 11 full-time teachers in this professional subject team, including 4 professors, 4 associate professors and 3 lecturers. More than 60% of the teachers have overseas study or visiting experience. This professional teaching staff has high educational level, advanced teaching concept, strong scientific research strength, rich practical experience, and high cohesion and team fighting spirit.

 

     Over the past five years, 12 monographs, textbooks and translated works have been published by our professional teachers; more than 50 papers have been published in important academic journals at home and abroad; 8 projects of National Natural Science funds, 5 provincial and ministerial projects such as the Ministry of Education and Beijing, and 1 national key project of "100 excellent management cases" have been presided over; 6 cases have been selected to national "100 excellent management cases"; guide students to participate in two international competitions of GMC and "PEAK TIME", a total of 338 awards were awarded.
